Over the last 3 months, the product and growth team at CoinDCX has launched 20+ campaigns on Plotline, to improve multiple in-app metrics across activation, adoption, and retention.

Campaign 1: Drive the #of users who trade crypto futures

Understanding that futures trading is a significant revenue driver, CoinDCX aimed to increase the adoption of the feature.

They implemented a real-time bottom sheet to:

  • Educate users about the benefits of futures trading
  • And then guide them through the process to top up their Futures wallet and start trading crypto futures

    30% more users started trading crypto futures if they had seen the campaign.

    How CoinDCX increase the number of trades by deploying native widgets with Plotline

    Campaign 2:  Increase # of trades

    CoinDCX identified an opportunity to boost the number of trades made, by highlighting tokens with the highest trading volume.

      They implemented a "Token of the Day" widget to spotlight high-volume tokens and encourage users to explore popular trading opportunities.

      Through this, they directed new and dormant users towards these trending coins and encouraged them to make a trade.

      10% users who saw the widget made a trade.

      "To address high dropoffs of new users, we implemented guided walkthroughs using Plotline's diverse UI templates in our app. This resulted in a 45% increase in users initiating their first trade. This not only educated new users but also enhanced long-term retention."

      Campaign 3: Increase the # of new users who start their first trade

      CoinDCX recognized that many new users were not familiar with key features post-onboarding. They decided to implement a guided walkthrough that would educate users and lead them to start their first trade.

      Keeping this in mind, they created a multi-step walkthrough highlighting the core features on the homepage.

      Of the users to whom the 6-step walkthrough was targeted, ~45% started their first trade.
